Hey guys!

Well here we are, our first weekly blog! Firstly thanks for wanting to be a part of, what we hope to be, a great way to keep you guys informed of all the updates, big and small through 2011!

As we mentioned on Facebook, we want to keep you updated on up-coming gigs, E.P release progress and all the other bits and pieces that will hopefully be of interest to you.

SO LETS GET CRACKING!

The most important update from this last week is that we finally have the artwork finished for THESE LIFELESS PLAINS! Jan from Darkgrove has done a FANTASTIC job for us and we couldn't be happier. You may recall towards the end of last year we had some issues with our previous designer so it was great to have Jan come on board and be the hands on designer we needed. So you can find below the final artwork for THESE LIFELESS PLAINS! So download it and let us know what you think!

Also! Below is the final design for our new T.Shirts! We felt that the E.P cover art would work awesome on a T.Shirt and hope you agree that it looks fantastic! Again, designed by Darkgrove designs. If you want to check out more of Jan's work, hit the jump! - http://www.darkgrove.net/

So when the hell are we gonna get this E.P released you might ask! And rightly so, but you'll be pleased to know it's all systems go now we have everything ready. We are currently comparing quotes for CD and T.shirt printing, so if you know of any decent suppliers, let us know, either reply to this e-mail or hit us up on the FB page, the more comparisons we have the better. So as soon as we decide on who to go with it's full steam ahead for the E.P release. We're hoping to get it released through a distribution deal, but don't worry, you will still be able to get copies directly from us! More on that nearer the time.

Our next gig is this Friday March 4th at The Parade in Llandudno, with support coming from Inferno & Motherwrench! The Inferno guys always put on a killer set and we're looking forward to gigging with Motherwrench for the first time. We have never gigged at The Parade and it's always exciting to play at new venues. So anyone local to the Llandudno area make sure you get down to The Parade this Friday, doors are at 7.30pm with the first band being on at 8:00pm! It's a great line-up and will be a fun evening, hope to see you there!

Here is the FB event link for the gig - http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=113560458721122 - RSVP it up!

At the end of March we will be supporting MAN MUST DIE at The Masque in Liverpool, more on that one next week! This line-up is NOT one to be missed!

We have recently uploaded to FB some shots from our recent photo shoot with the immensely talented Don Jackson-wyatt fromwww.circlepit.tv! We did the shots in the Denbigh moors and, despite freezing our asses off, we had a blast with Don and got some great shots out of it. We can't wait to work with Don again. So if you haven't already seen them, make sure to check them out on the FB page and let us know what you think!

Speaking of circlepit.tv, head over to the website [http://www.circlepit.tv/features/band-of-the-month] and check out the 'Band Of The Month' feature. Don did a fantastic feature on us and we're stoked to be featured on the website [thank you Don!]. While you're there, have a browse around the rest of the website and see why it's getting a stupid amount of hits a day!

Tonight we will be trying out a new practice room! We have had to leave Sychdyn behind as the owner felt that upcoming local elections deserved the space there rather than our gear cluttering up the place! [That's 5 less votes for the local labour party!!!] So tonight we will be in Bagillt and we can't wait to blast out the set and get ready for Friday's gig in Llandudno!

That pretty much does it for the first of our weekly blogs! We'll check in again next week with thoughts on Friday's gig, more updates on the E.P release and much more! In the meantime...enjoy the E.P artwork and make sure you let us know what you think!

BE SAFE!

The boys from IMEX.
